Shad Valley- 4 week summer enrichment opportunity

“Shad Valley provides students with an enriched academic experience and the opportunity to be immersed in university life before they finish high school. Annually, 500 of the nation's brightest students are admitted to our month-long residential program based at 10 universities across the country. The program focuses on science, technology, engineering and entrepreneurship.

The fun, team-based environment at Shad Valley enables participants to grow in ways they never anticipated. Through lectures, workshops and team-building activities run by university faculty and industry leaders, students are exposed to advanced academic topics and learn new leadership skills.

Applications are due by December 7, 2011 or January 18, 2012, and early applications are encouraged. They are available at www.shad.ca/apply. “ (Barry Bisson- Shad Valley President)
